Join us in celebrating 65 years of the Archuleta County Fair, 100 years of Wolf Creek Pass and 125 years of Pagosa Springs. The Pagosa Springs Historical Preservation Board along with the 2016 Archuleta County Fair Board has scheduled some great entertainment to help us celebrate!Here are a few of the new fun things that will be at this years fair!
The carnival will be joining our fun for all 4 days of fair. Purchase your presale wristbands for only $18 or at the fair for $25. Stop by the Extension office during normal business hours to purchase your presale wristbands!
Jicarilla Junior High Drummers from Dulce, NM
4 performances: Friday 8/5/16 11AM –Noon and 3-4PM
Saturday 8/6/16 – 1-2PM
Sunday 8/7/16 – 1-2PM
Students perform traditional drumming representing the Jicarilla Apache Nation heritage. Participants will be singing in their native language and wearing traditional regalia.

Saturday August 7th 11AM-Noon
Adams State University sponsored Spanish dancers in beautiful colorful costumes. Their performance will include children, students and professional dancers. They bring their own festive music and describe the styles of dance to the audience. Performing on the main stage just before Variety Express. Over 20 dancers will travel from Alamosa area.
Friday night performance August 6, 2016 with a 9PM start and 12:30AM finish.
Playing Old Time Rock, Spanish Traditional, Cumbia, Ranchera, Country Western & Pop music. Pagosa Springs born and raised, The Rivas Family Band was originated by Hank and his brother Bobby Rivas 60+ years ago.
